The Author: Dr. Neil E. Harl is Charles F. Curtiss Distinguished Professor in Agriculture and Emeritus Professor of Economics, Iowa State University and member of the Iowa Bar. Dr. Harl is one of the country’s foremost authorities on business, economic, legal and tax matters affecting agriculture and has published numerous papers and articles in legal, tax and trade journals, in addition to the 14 volume treatise, Agricultural Law.

The Editor: The editor is Robert P. Achenbach, Jr., J.D. who is the editor and co-publisher of the Agricultural Law Digest and writer and editor for more than 35 years for Dr. Harl’s treatise, Agricultural Law.
